Day 73: Upcycled Keepsake Pouch

So this is my favorite project so far.  I found this recycled fabric at Joanns so I was using it to line a change purse.  But I really liked the pattern so I thought I should make a couple of these on the side for future uses.  They are a bit stiff but they are great for purses.

Day 72: Pink Satin Keepsake Pouch

I originally created these pouches for customers so that their item can be considered gift packaged.  I made a bunch of these in advance since I hate doing them immediately after I get an order.  I decided to use pink satin fabric since I was running low and I thought it would be great if I had these on hand. I used ribbons as strings so it is a drawstring pouch. You can keep small items in here from glitter (don't ask why) to buttons or just coins.

Day 71: Pink Mirage Change Purse

Today I decided to work on a personal project.  A coin purse that I have been using for two years was starting to exhibit signs of wear and tear.  I tried to take the zipper off of it but it kind of crumbled.  So I bought a Fat Quarter  and some zippers from Joann and made my own coin purse.  It came out great and for the lining I used the recyclable fabric used to make shopping bags.

Day 70: Black and Red Slim Bracelet

This was probably my second most favorite item that I have created so far.  This bracelet is made with red acrylic beads and black seed beads.  This bracelet is sexy enough for a night on the town but subtle enough for a day in the office.

Day 69 : Green Orb Gold Earrings

With the bountiful amount of supplies I purchase on Black Friday I decided to put a pair of beads to rest.  So these glass beads with gold wire wrapped around them have been in my jewelry box since I started my Etsy account.  I could not find anything to make them into since it was gold and all of my fixtures are silver.  So I deliberately purchased some gold earwires and headpins.  But the only thing I needed to make these beads were some .45mm wire, crimp tubes and some gold earwires.  Use some glass faux pearls and you have a very elegant pair of earrings.  I intend to give them to my twin sister for Christmas!

Day 68: Color Ring Earrings

As I continue to learn how to use jump rings I work on using colors.  I used small 6-8mm multi colored jump rings.  Each earring has four jump rings.  Eyepins are used to latch the jump rings to earwires with green and purple glass beads in the middle.

Day 67: Porcelain Chain Gang Earrings

As I try to work with jump rings I learned that they can be made into earrings instead of spacers.  These ones I have looped 8-9mm metal jump rings together and then inserted two blue and red porcelain beads.

Day 66: Tastefully Teal Bracelet

I made this bracelet for my sister after she told me she broke her favorite bracelet.  I used smoked teal glass beads and plastic pearls.  I used metal bead caps as spacers and toggle and clasp for the bracelet. Surprisingly this is an exact match for the tastefully teal earrings.

Day 65: Porcelain Butterfly Bracelet

Very similar to the earrings this bracelet is made with porcelain glass encased beads and plastic pearl beads.  This bracelet is has metal wire and has a toggle and clasp to close it.  I will post the specs later on.

Day 64: Porcelain Butterflies Earrings

These earrings are made from porcelain painted beads and plastic pearl beads.  The headpins are metal and the earwires (aka hooks) are made from surgical steel.  These earrings are one inch long (2.5cm) and very lightweight.

Day 63: Burgundy Pink and Gold Bracelet

For starters this bracelet was so big I could not get a clear picture.  This bracelet is so big I was almost able to fit both my wrists inside of it.  I feel as if I am setting up a series of yo mama jokes, but seriously this was my first attempt at making a bracelet.  I over measured my wrist assuming that I could somehow hide the rest, I was just too excited to use that wire that has been sitting in my jewel box.  I used this bag of glass beads I found at Joanns. Some of the beads have a floral glaze while others are just covered in glitter or flecks of white paint.  I can not sell this bracelet in good faith so I am going to buy a box, put in the matching earrings I did not want to sell, place it in a box, and mail it to a relative a few days before Christmas.  It's nice to give away stuff you do not need!

Day 62: Pink Drops Hoops Earrings

As I journey through the world of aluminum wire I am very intrigued with the results.  After bending the wire I filled the middle with tiny wooden beads and two stone beads.  The stone beads  insidestf look like they have a piece of multi colored  elbow macaroni nestled in between.  Can't give the measurements now but the earrings are about over an inch tall. I will most likely not sell these, but I will keep them in my private collection!

Day 61: Swimming in Pink Bracelet

This bracelet is very small but custom orders can be made.  This bracelet measures 6 inches long and fits sizes 5-5.5.  This bracelet is made with pink rose glass beads, pink rose coral nuggets, and neon pink howlite beads.  There is a kitty mermaid in between each howlite bead.  This bracelet is for kids as well as teenagers.  To seal this bracelet a toggle and clasp must be put together, this is easy to complete by oneself.  This would be great for kids as they learn how to  wear jewelry.

This bracelet is 8 inches ( 20.32cm)  long.  it fits any wrist up to 8 inches. This bracelet is great for weddings and can readjust to any size up to 8.  After size  8 it will be considered a custom order

These cuties are glass teddy bears.  They are almost a powder blue with a sky blue glass bead on top.  The headpins are silver plated ball pins and the earwires are silver plated metal hooks. These earrings are adorable and they are great for kids

Day 52: Wood and Cowrie Shell Hoops

I have decided to go small with these earrings. I was trying to practice and see what it would be like to use small beads for a small hoop.  I intend to do something like this again but with swarovski crystals and maybe a charm.  I used 20 gauge silver wire.  I then threaded the wire with some tiny wooden beads.  I then used a metal jump ring and looped a cowrie shell and inserted it into the hoop earring.  I used silver plated metal earwires.  These earrings go well with a lot of stuff.

Day 51: Agate and Pearl Earrings

These earrings are a pair of dangles I made, yes I have gone back to dangles.  These earrings are about an inch long.  We use metal headpins and metal bead caps as the base of the earrings.   A smoky agate bead is sandwiched in between two metal bead caps. On the edge of each bead cap is a pearl. The earwires are made from silver plated metal.  These earrings are gorgeous and can go with almost everything.

Day 50: Legalize it Hoop Earrings

What a way to celebrate the 50th day of this post than with an colorful product.  I have created a pair of Marijuana earrings.  The hoop is made from silver and has multi-colored glass beads.  The Cannabis charms in the middle of each earrings are made from Tibetan silver. The jump rings used for the cannabis charms and the earwires are hypoallergenic.  The earwires are made from surgical steel.  I have been meaning to make these earrings for a long time but was going to use a different kind of beads.  These earrings go very well with jeans.

Day 49: Pink Satin Pouch

For some reason this bag is showing up as orange.  Hopefully with the daylight I can take a better picture.  This item is a small pouch.  I usually make these when I sell  earrings.  Its great because they ensure that they do not get damaged during shipping.  Plus when the seller receives it they can use it for loose change, make up, and many other items.

Day 48: Strawberries and Champagne Soap

Just made some strawberries and champagne flavored soap.  It is a 4 oz bar and smells absolutely wonderful. Used a little bit of dye and fragrance.

Day 47: Sunburst Wooden Earrings

Today we are going to have a late post.  These earrings I just created and they are definitely one of my favorites for all the wooden earrings that I have made.  These earrings start out with silver covered metal headpins.  Metal painted ball beads are placed at the base.  I then use wooden block beads that are designed with a sunburst on each bead.  In between each wooden beads are orange glass beads.  I used surgical steel earwires. These earrings are absolutely gorgeous with dreadlocks and goes well with earth tones.
