Day 101 : Chocolate Candy Bead Watch

As I continue to make more watch bands I learn which ones are more appropriate.  Like flat beads over spheres, no metal spacers, etc. This watch is really simple, I just used some .45mm thread and some flat disc beads.  The toggles and Clasps are tibetan silver and this watch can fit size 8.

Day 100: Handmade Charm Earrings

Yayyyy!! This is my 100th project!  I am so proud of myself! I am only 265 more projects away from completing my challenge.  There have been days where I clump posts together but every day I still complete one assignment.

Today we are celebrating my handmade projects by making a pair of handmade earrings.  I used  .45mm wire instead of headpins.  Each earring has a bronze charm shaped like a hand with the word "handmade" printed on each of them.  I used glass pastel czech beads and one pink howlite sphere beads. I used crimp tubes to keep the beads in place and I used silver plated ear wires.

Day 99: Exhilarating Body Butter

Merry Christmas to All !!!!

Today I am going to keep it real simple.  I liquified butters and oils and whipped them over ice.  This is great for the upcoming cold weather and even dry skin in hot climates like myself.

Day 92 : Christmas Pom Poms [ With Tutorial]

So although these pom poms may look a  bit uneven they are actually six separate pom poms put together.
I followed the tutorial I found here on Hello Knitty. You can just do these easiest method and lay down a bunch of yarn against a string a tie it tightly. I am going to use these pom poms instead of ribbons on the gifts that I plan to send out.

Day 91 Square Porcelain Earrings

These earrings are made from 14gauge aluminum.  I shaped it with a perfume bottle and added some porcelain beads. I swirled the edges so that the beads will not fall off.  The jump hoops are hypoallergenic and the earwires are made from surgical steel.

Day 90 : Red Chain Scarf

I made this for Christmas.  It is a scarf made of chain stitches.  The top is double stitched together and then sewn shut .  This is great for Florida weather and goes well in black.

Day 87 : BubbleGum Bracelet

I enjoy these neon pink howlite beads, they are similar to these little gum pieces I used to consume as a kid. I used wooden sphere beads and stretchy cord to make this bracelet. I used a heart shaped toggle clasp and since the cord is stretchy you can slip your hand right through it.

Day 86: Turquoise Howlite Bracelet

This bracelet is made from turquoise howlite beads, faux metal beads, and faux pearl beads.  This bracelet is nice and light and fits any wrist.

Day 85 : Heart Key Candy Bracelet

I decided to make this after watching The Heart She Holler. I have no idea since I just saw the key to city episodes.  These candy flat disc howlite beads house a heart skeleton key.

Day 84: Green Spot Change Purse

Made from 100% cotton fabric quarters and a satin lining.  This is a Christmas gift is for a relative of mine.  I intend to make an entire set if I can.

Day 83: Green Coral Earrings

These are small green coral nuggets on a metal headpin.  They are strung onto metal headpins.  The earwires are surgical steel.  This is actually a gift for someone.  I don't plan to make it again since it was kind of a pain to put on the string.  In retrospect I probably should have just used the wire instead.....

Day 82: Flowers and Sunshine Hoop Earrings

These are just absolutely adorable.  I used kidney shaped hoops and used small flower decorated beads with a rubber like finish.  The yellow bead is made from ceramic .The jump hoops are hypo allergenic and the earwires (earring hooks) are made from surgical steel.  These are great for teenagers.

Day 81 : Capped! Hunter Green Watch

This is a christmas gift for my sister.  I got too excited to wait and made it.  Its a small watch and instead of the traditional leather straps I made a bracelet.  This is my first watch so hopefully I will become better in the future. I used glass beads, faux pearls and metal bead caps.  This office is great for the workplace.

Day 80: Green Coral Bracelet

This was originally a gift for someone but I learned that I had enough to make another one.  These are two shades of green coral nuggets.  They are held together on  .45mm wire with a heart shaped toggle and clasp.  These make great gifts especially if you have a pair of matching earrings!

Day 79 : Eastern Porcelain Bracelet

This is yet again another example of items in my jewelry boxes that have sat unused for a year.  The center piece is an Eastern inspired piece that is made completely of porcelain.  The spacer beads are a faux metal finish and the blue beads are made from glass.  These go well with jeans and measures about  8 1/ 2 inches
( 21.59 centimeters) long so it should fit bracelet sizes 8-8.25 inches.

Day 78 : Hootie Hoo Hoop Earrings

I was too excited to get these owls in the mail.  I decided to make them into charm hoop earrings, the only downside is that I  did not bend the hoops as well as I should have.  The round brown beads are howlite beads.  The diamond beads are made from brown plastic with a soft glossy finish.  The owls are made from tibetan silver.  These earrings are 2 1/2 inches ( 6.35 cm) long and 2 inches (5.08 cm) wide.  These are great for the woodland, boho, and hipster crowd.  Throw on your favorite mustache t-shirt and you are good to go!

Day 77: Nuggets and Charms Earrings

I created this to see how for I can go with a kidney shaped finding. For starters it was hard finding a bead to fit but eventually I found these coral nuggets in one of my boxes.  For spacer beads I use faux metal and in the middle of each of these dangle earrings I placed  a star shaped tibetan silver charm in the middle. The findings I used surgical steel earwires.  These earrings are great from teenagers to adults. They are very lightweight and can be worn in the office or just hanging out with friends.

Day 76: Pink Mirage Makeup Bag

So this is similar to the coin purse except that I used a 9 inch zipper.  I was planning on making a pencil case but this was the actual end result.  Not all is lost, I put this in my purse to keep my perfume, lotions and lip balms from straying.  I used  100% cotton fat quarters and 100% recycled fabric (similar to what is found in reusable bags).  Make sure you use the zipper foot on your sewing machine for the best results.

Day 75: Choco Spot Cat Blanket

This product is another example of my Black Friday Shopping.  I meant to keep these snuggle flannel fabrics and hoard them for personal use ; but instead I stopped being stingy and just made the cat blanket that my sister needs.  The top is a snuggle flannel fabric (not intended for sleepwear)    with a chocolate brown background that is covered in multi colored circles.  The bottom is a green satin fabric that was left in my bedroom during the summer. I used quilt batting to ensure some comfort for the cat.  I used black cotton  Coats and Clark thread to ensure that it will not fall apart.  Both sides will make any cat become extremely playful and enjoy  a place of their own to rest.
